Photos of the spawning gravel placement project July 16, 2005 along the Boise River. Volunteers placed 17 yards of spawning gravel (2 inches and less in diameter) in two side channels to the Boise River. The first five photos are on the north side of the river in the return channel from the Boise City Canal diversion channel behind the number 10 green at Warm Spring Golf Course. Other photos are along the south side of the river in the side channel along the Island homes at River Run.

Gravel was piled on the chute and pushed down streamside to be placed in the channel.
Jim, Andy, John and Tom lean on their shovels while golfers putt out on the number 10 green.
The last of the gravel is raked down the chute and placed in the channel.
